Artist Stephanie Schlatter Exhibits Photography from Mexico
at Imagerie Gallery
(GRAND RAPIDS, MICH)—May 5, 2003—Artist Stephanie Schlatter showed both her love of photography and her appreciation for the culture of Mexico in a new photography exhibit she called “Cinco de Mayo – A Deeper Look into Mexico.” Stephanie timed the exhibit showing at the
Imagerie Gallery in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to coincide with the Cinco de Mayo Mexican cultural celebration.
Stephanie lived in Mexico while studying there and captured the amazing people, lifestyle, and fabric of society with her camera’s eye. An avid traveler and observer of the human condition, Stephanie has often used her camera to capture the memories of her many journeys to display at home when she returns. It was only natural to share the beauty of her artist’s eye with the community in a show at the Imagerie Gallery in this two-person show.
