Artist Stephanie Schlatter Holds New Art Exhibit at Imagerie Gallery

(GRAND RAPIDS, MICH)—May 5, 2004—In her second show themed on Mexico, artist Stephanie Schlatter opened “Cinco de Mayo – Mexico Through My Eyes” at Imagerie Gallery in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This was Stephanie’s first exhibit of works of art rather than photography, newly influenced by studying at the Culture Center of Jalisco, where she learned to paint the essence of what she saw rather than literally what she saw.

As with last year’s show, Stephanie timed the show for May 5 and the Cinco de Mayo Mexican cultural celebration.
