Artist Stephanie Schlatter Hosts Second Annual Wine Tasting and Art Auction for Art Aid for Tesfa and Ethiopian Education

Art Aid for Tesfa. Stephanie holds the event each year to raise funds by auctioning off artwork painted by students in Ethiopia who attend schools operated by the
Stephanie travels to Ethiopia each year to teach students about art. “Stephanie has a real talent with the kids, and she’s very devoted to their well-being,” says Dana Roskey of the Tesfa Foundation, who spoke at the event. The students paint artwork, which Stephanie brings back to sell at auction to support the schools.
Cascade Winery printed the children’s artwork on its labels and then offered the wines for donation as part of the wine tasting. The donations went to Art Aid for Tesfa to support education in Ethiopia. Their Chocolate Port was one of the hits, a great gift idea that also supported a good cause.
